But then there would be a flood of diamonds on the black market cause the price of diamonds to drop...this would cause more loss of jobs further spiraling the economy downward....

Then again, I don't think I'd come across to many of those tires in my dad to day life.

I can see the conversation now at my store....

"Yeah I want four of those diamond studded tires price is of no objection."
"You're looking at twelve hundred dollars a tire plus fifty dollars per tire to mount and balance due to there being diamonds thus extra precautions are needed during the tire mounting balance."
"Yeah I can't afford that after all."
"Would you like a set of inexpensive touring tires instead?"

Ya not a great idea but if you watch they video they state its to celebrate the diamond anniversary. Its just something small to celebrate, doubt they will actually run the tires with diamonds on.

This made me think of the crazy expensive lingerie that Victoria's Secret comes out with like once a year that is worn once by some super hot model and then bought by some super rich person. It's because they can.

Funny, I like to think about Victoria's Secret models in lingerie too!

A fool and their money are soon parted, just drive a few blocks, lol.

Not really. Goodyear produces the Vogue Tyre line. Some of the most expensive tires. All for status. At one point they had actual gold applied to the lettering.

I would say yes if for some reason they tried to produce the tire or if the tires they did make were intended to be driven on. But it's just a publicity thing.

I almost like "The Gambler", except that stupid-ass Louis Vuitton pattern.

I'm still blown away to this day that people will buy **** with that pattern... it isn't attractive, and you're not impressing anybody.
