Hey guys! Thanks to a very productive December, I'm finally ready to get a head package for my Focus. I'm gonna be upping the compression, as well as new cams and cam gears. What I need to know is how difficult the install is. What tools am I gonna need, and what should I look out for. I'm a relatively new mechanic, but my Uncle has a ton of wrench time under his belt and has some special tools (I forget what he called it, but it helps you find TDC). Anyone with experience on the Focus Head Install have any info? I'd appreciate it...

It is fairly straight foreward if you have done some head installs

One thing to save you some time is there is a bolt in the upper alt. bracked that many have called me on that cant get there head loose you have to look for this bolt but it is there

A TQ wrench will be needed as well and i would go to the ARP head studs

Get you #1 Cyl. at top dead center and the cam line up tool in the cams and all should go well

My # is 704-827-0032 to my shop if you have any trouble give me a call and i will do what i can to help
