anyone know if our head interference running?

you know belt slips bent valves,many tears, and some money spent to fix it

ummm, I think the factory head is a non interferance (however you spell it) head....so no worries.....but gotta milled head, that's a diff story......long story short 8 bent exhaust valves, profane langues all up and down the block and about $400 for machine work and new valves later and I'm in good shape

i got a stock head here. but i am getting ready to install a set of cams in the next week or so. so i thought i would ask.

Make sure to install a new timing belt to prevent a slipped belt or something.

My friend's shop makes it ia common practice to use a fresh timing belt with a cam install. Just to be safe. Weird things can happen.
