Headlight troubles

OK heres the story.

My low beams did not work, my high beams did (both sides)

Now to try to fix the low beams i thought i'd try to switch the bulbs and what not, still didn't work, started fiddling with other stuff and no luck. Unhooks headlights from connector checked them out on another focus, they work, so its not the headlights.

So i put the lights back in and only the drivers side works. NO passengers side. Now i'm really pissed. I drove home with one ligh on, afriad of cops (ARG)

So i switched ou the headlights for another pair i know work for sure (the HIDs), set them up, put in new 15a fuses, and bam again only drivers side works. Now im even more furious, i look at the connector from the headlight (passenger) to the car and the connector seems shot...i THINK...i want to see besides taht connector which looks like a bitch to change, what else should i look for as a trouble shoot step? Anyone by any chance happen to have the part number for that connector from ford?

Exactly which wiring pigtail is this? Does it plug directly into the headlight bulb no the normal headlights?

its from the headlight into the harness from the car, NOT the one from the bulb. I went to Ford today and they said $7xx!! for that harness, its harness that goes to the dash. :O

O.K. what I am getting at is the fact that I can get repair ends for most of the wiring on the car.

If the plug you need is the one that plugs into the headlight bulb itself let me know and I will see what I can come up with.
Isn't the one that plugs into the back of light assembly (not the internal one to the bulbs) a VW part - or is that just what they use to build the st170/Mach adapters?
I will post pics of the connector, i snipped the wires and hardwired them into the other wires. I'd prefer to have the connectors though, pics coming..
Are these HID's that are malfunctioning? I guess I didn't notice but you had mentioned switching lights.

no the HIDs are fine, i wired them up so they work now but not before i snipped THIS connector:

O.K. I have a pigtail that will work for that. I went out to my own car and looked at it, It had an engineering number of 97AG-14A464-GGA on it.

That crosses over to a hardshell connector that does not come with any wiring. I then reverse engineered that number and found that an '03 and up Navigator/Expedition uses the same hardshell connector and there is a pigtail made for that application but it may have more wires coming out of it than you need (I forgot to check the wire count when I looked at mine) but at least you can get a repair end. The repair pigtail has 7 wires.

Other than the number of wires it is identical to the end I looked at on my car and I have the magical YS4Z-13A006-CA pigtails here and they plug right in to the end I just found.

The pigtail number is 3U2Z-14S411-EVA I can do them for $3.39 each and list is only $5.13 each. I have one in stock.
have you checked the fuse in the engine compartment? i had a similar issue when i had installed the dual halo lights from ebay. after i checked the fuse, i saw that the low beam fuse's were blown, after changing them all was good.

O.K. Major brain cramp
.....The hardshell with no wires is $3.39.

The pigtail with wiring is $24.16....still much better than a whole harness but a lot more than my previous post.

I am so embarrased
