The way I see it is that they are either gonna just use this model to replace the Si they have now and just drop the Type-R and sell this as the Si but I dont know what Honda is thinking. This car will compete with the RSX type-s and from what ive heard and saw on auto shows the CTR beats the RSX so what are they gonna do about that? Your basically gonna get 2 type r's just one has a different body on it. The only other option would be if Acura released an RSX Type R that beat the CTR.

I dont know how true the price is, but in the UK same Type-R is 20,000 British Pounds which is about $31,000. I doubt it will be anywhere close to $22K range if it is the real Type-R. Nice car btw.

The pricing of the CTR in europe is VERY aggresive. If they can keep it under $20K here they will be able to sell them.

But as others have mentioned, this leaves the Si twisting in the wind. Do they lower the MSRP or kill it.

When this car came out I would have bought one in a heartbeat. But now it's not quite as alluring. The market for high HP sport compacts is FINALLY heating up.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">I've read from Honda corp that there is 'only one room for a Type-R in the US'. I don't think it will be the RSX-R, more likely they'll kill the Si and bring over the CTR, why have a car that is not meeting to peoples expectations? (well most people
