Why you looking to get rid of it??? Now that it is flipped the right way I think you're all set.

Lose it.

I don't understand why you would need it seeing as how you already have a tach. I'm not too big on stuff like that but it doesn't mean that it looks all that bad. I, personally, would not have one in my SVT but if you feel as though it does something then by all means, go right ahead...

I personally HATE that style of tach... BUT, I also think its your car and you should do what makes you happy!
I purchased a G-Tech Pro-Comp and have it mounted in that spot. I use it as a tach and shift light, but it also does several other functions...

The car looks nice!
If you are not a street or drag racer, lose it cause it's too big and kinda block your view, looks tacky too. Otherwise you can find a smaller version one.

well, not considering it's looks, SCC mentioned one time that the Focus guages are really slow to react and not very accurate. so that alone might warrant having an aftermarket tach. i dunno that's just what they said, i'm fine with my normal tach
keep it if you plan on using a-pillar pod guages. other wise, lose it
Personally i would lose it cuz you dont need two...but i would get a shift light.

I never had a problem with mine but I did have a shift light from this guy and I have to say it was DAMN accurate and easy to install. In fact, I believe there is a write up on FocusHacks about it...

Lose it. The car comes with a tach, you dont need a new one.
I'd lose it...or maybe find a different spot for it. I know external tachs are supposed to be huge, but that looks really outa place in such a small car like the Foci...I like the look of those tachs on other cars but not really in a focus, maybe if it fits, in side the area w/ the coin dish is if u can dremel out that plastic and wedge it in there. It just takes up too much space I think.
im glad you re arranged that tach. I looked weird upsidedown.
Lose it, I had asked someone else on this board to compare how accurate the stock tach was when he installed it, and he said it was dead on, so I see no need, but you could keep the shift light!

I would take the tach out, and just use the one that the car came with but if ya need help, shifting, keep the shift light in.
Burn it.
If you are planning on getting a guage pod, who is gonna put it in? (please dont say me. j/k) What are you gonna do with the shift light thats at the house? If you take the tach out you will have both the tach and the other shift light sitting around.

All FOMOCO tachs have been known to be off by as much as 750 rpms, though the average is around 250 rpms. If you are a competition drag racer, that can make the difference between getting a win light or not. If you arent, then go with the msd ignition and get the shift light for it. Thats about as accurate as you can get being as its run directly off the ignition and timing circuit, not off the pcm. JMHO of course. BUT, as far as looks, if you like it, keep it.
