Just like putting together the kids toys on christmas, I've finished putting my engine together (remove & replace cylinder head) and I have an extra plug that's dangling with no where to go! I don't want to throw a CEL for something that I clearly know is not connected. I know some manufacturers leave a diagnostic plug dangling around, but this one is pretty clean, like it's been connected to something. I've scoured the whole radius of where it could reach and see nothing.
The connector branches off the harness that comes off the fuel injector bus and feeds the Cam Position Sensor (it's an SVTF), the thermostat housing, this myserty plug (where my finger is), the air bypass valve (or whatever that is connected to the intake mani) and the throttle body:
