Like the subject line says. What if you installed a turbo set up and a JRSC with all the proficient hardware. How would you tune this beasst. This is just all out of curiosity of course. The idea came to me while watchin horse power tv. lol

the only time a turbo should be "peaky" is when you choose something that is too small. a properly sized turbo will not be "peaky" because it won't create boost under cruising conditionsMR2's are the only cars on which this setup seems to have anything resembling popularity.
it makes a lot of sense if you want a crazy HP monster but still want to drive the thing regularly. yes i know tom daily drives, but it has to be a pain in the butt iwht that peaky of a turbocharger
Exactly...a smaller turbo will be more responsive to the throttle and harder to control due to the quicker spool--that is how I interpret "peaky"huh? i dont think ive ever heard a small turbo refered to as peaky? a large impeller in a large housing is going to take a larger load to spool up. it should then be able to flow more creating more power up in the revs. whereas a smaller turbo which can max its flow efficiency earlier on is going to provide a flatter curve up top, i.e. not peaky. go compare flow maps for different size slugs/wheels.. and then get back to installing your kit!![]()
