Hey people I have a question that I can't answer. Tonight on the road a car drove over some wet gold paint on the road and the spray got on my front end on the windshield, headlights, bumper, etc. How do I get this paint off the car? Thanks Much in advance

I was hoping there would be some household items that could do the job as I don't have $20 to go get a claybar. SO if any household things can get paint off please offer them up:)

I would try some mineral spirits--no need to mess up a $10 claybar. A razor blade will work on the glass. Make sure you wax after you get the paint off. Anything strong enough to remove that will also remove the wax.

Edit: Oops-didn't read all the posts.

you should invest in a claybar anyway...I bought one for $14 and after a year of owning my car the paint got all rough. Used the claybar and the paint is like brand new. It's usable 3 times also, so it's not that expensive per use.
