How to cooperate with FJ?
Hey,
I am a member here, but spend most of the time at FocusFanatics.
Over there we are starting some work on a petition to Ford to encourage them to get serious about redesignign the Focus.
I would like to be contacted by someone to talk whenther FocalJet would like to be engaged on this project - have input in the petition text, etc, and help us spread the word, once we come out with the final text.

the thought process goes like this:
1. between Fj and FF and any other site we fnd we can get plenty of sgnatures... plenty of potential customers - damn I woulf trade in my 05 for a C1 based focus anytime (don't like the 3 and can't afford S40/V50 if yo uare wondering)
2. They did listen to customers with the new SportTrack so yes I believe they will listed and care

they wont admit they failed so it will not work. if anything they will get rid of the car completely and replace it with something else which is something we dont want
They won't do anything to endanger their precious Mustang sales.
They didnt listen to any one with the sport trac k, they shoved a bed on an 06 explorer chasis because the sport track was loosing it in sales do to its age and lack of redisghn, not because a bunch of explorer people wrote them with a petiotion a Director of internet services reads and then deletesthe thought process goes like this:

if you want to make a serious impression, get a bunch of focus-owners...bring them to Ford Headquarters...get em naked and have each person have one letter of your request and stand outside the Presidents office in the correct order
petitions work for kicking people out of developments and causing anarchy in highschool...

Jetfest at ford world hq in dearborn this year ?

I doubt that would work. I think that well orginized meets like jetfest made ford turn their head. I think thats our last vestage of hope.
