I have the focus sport cat back exhaust on my car and it sounds great. I also have a header though so I think it will be quite a bit quieter, but it has a nice sound. Very easy to install too.

I also have a focussport exhaust and i love it. It is loud when its is pulling but quiet when at 40mph and 55-60mph, at those speeds in 4th gear and 5th gear it is like you have a stock exhaust!! Great design to prevent that droning noise at the speeds you travel at most. It really is a matter of taste though, but my friends,(hondas and audis) love my exhaust, my audi friend wants my exhaust on his car!! hehehee

How\'s your focussport aluminum exhaust???

How's your exhaust sound? This one seems to be in my price range, how does it compare to some of the other cat-backs out there?

I have the FS Exhaust and love it. Nice tone. But I two have the JBA header and around 3000 rpms it gets quite loud. Really easy to install. About 30min. with lift.

i'm bumping this up because i am curious how this exhaust holds up to weather? Does the aluminum start to crap out after any some time? I live in michigan, lots 'o' salt and lots 'o' water will make contact with the aluminum...anyone have problems with any form of decay? rust for example.

I plan on buying the FS tomorrow....i am wondering if the ceramic coating is worth the extra money...

for lots of salt and grime, I'd definately say to get the ceramic.... otherwise you'll eat through it in no time... and exhaust leaks are bad.

I dont have an exhaust yet but I've been looking at the magnaflow cat back system for 330$. Does anybody have any feedback on this exhaust? Thanks

This is just a little, minor point. The exhaust is *not* aluminum...it's aluminized steel. The ceramic coating would withstand corrosion much better.

hey whats up hypocrisy, i live in kalamazoo. i have the FS "quiet" system and i opted for ceramic because of the michigan weather. at least on this side of the state, i haven't seen the ground in over a month. i decided it was worth the extra money as i plan on driving this car till it explodes. by the way, the FS is a great sounding exhaust...with the "quiet" package ($40) it sounds like a sporty stock system...i compare it to my dad's BMW 3-series. quiet, but it has a presence. overall,

I also have the aluminized exhaust. I just hit it with about 3 coast of hi-temp paint before installation to eliminate salt corrosion problems. Also, correct me if I am wrong, but most stock systems on cars are aluminzed steel, with no coating and they can go 5-10 years until they need to be replaced.

What components comprise the "quiet" system? i.e. with or with out additional resonator...?

its the regular FS exhaust, and im not sure if its an extra resonator (as in the regular FS has none) or a bigger one. because the resonator is MASSIVE. my resonator was a magnaflow, dont know if they all are. i seriously didnt think it would fit under there, but it fit fine with room to spare.

i've had the FS aluminized ceramic cat back exhaust for 2 years+, i was the first person to have this exhaust (tells you how long i've had it)! i live in maryland and the exhaust has been through 2 winters with lots of snow and salt, and lots of rain. it has held up perfectly. wouldn't change a thing

i still get compliments from judges at car shows on it.
