Well, there's the start of a list. Feel free to reply to this thread with any additions/corrections/comments. Just make it short and sweet. The first person to quote any Monty Python movie will get shunned by the group for the whole weekend and will have to hang out with the ricers.

Let me know if you plan on camping and when you're arriving so we can plan on how much space to save. Plus, those that aren't camping, we'll make sure there's room so that we can all pit together in the same area. I like the idea of encircling the campsite with Foci to protect us from the rice like they would with wagons to protect themselves from indians in the old west. We'll let Gary pick the camping area based on his experience since he's probably been to this track more than any of us.

From what Gary said, the food at the track might not be all that bad and somewhat reasonably priced. Might just want to bring some snacks to get us through the day instead of planning a food list. The beverages, on the other hand, might be a little more important. I'll plan on bringing down a case of Trogenator for the adventerous. Oh, and some water too.

Well, looks like Bri started a food list. I'll plan on bringing snacks. Chips, pretzels, nuts, etc...along with plates and plasticware. If someone could bring water that would be sweet.

trogenator? i will have much bottled water, i suggest you stay extrememly hydrated. as eric mentioned i know a shady spot where we can easily fit us all in a decent proximity w/o being on top of each other. last year a few yahoos camped up there but there will be many more of us than them, a very good thing. we can make a fire if needed there. i will have cook stove and as mentioned plenty of paraphanalia. we can put the 2 ezups together for a communal, get out of the sun spot. i will have 4 or 5 chairs. also this spot is well within earshot of all announcements. i will try to get there as early as possible. when you drive in, go to the far end of the pits and look to the right into the area right behind the pits paved area. i will also have jack stands, yes and race jack for use. and beer, beer, beer and bloody marys?

joe not where i was for the races last november. imagine facing that spot and look to the right and back up in the trees behind the mustangs. straight back from old bathroom. the spot out front is brutal in the summer from the sun. we will be under the trees.

What more could you ask for? All hail trogenator...
Yes, we must all hail Trogenator! Burninating the countryside...

Well, I guess this thread went to hell anyway. My fault.

Sean, good to see you're coming!!!

Gary, looks like you might be the first one to the track on Friday. If Hal is going to swing by and help set-up, let him know when you're going to be there...

I'm toying with either taking a 1/2 day or leaving two hours early so I might be able to show up earlier than 7:00. I hate rusing so I'll probably do so.

Bri, if you bring dogs, burgers, rolls, I'd be more than willing to pitch in a few bucks.

One more thing...Egz, you won't have to worry about that darn speed limiter. Sean has the fix and it works.

OK, back to the nonsense...Here's the low down on the Trogenator:
Alcohol by Volume: 8.2%
Hop Bitterness (IBU's) : 25
Color (SRM) : Bronze
Availability: Draft and Bottles Year Round
Malts: Pilsner, Munich, Chocolate
Hops: Hallertau
Yeast: Lager

TASTING NOTES

Inspired by classic German Doublebock recipes, Troegnator’s deep bronze color and deceivingly smooth taste hides a full-bodied, strong lager that will bring out the beast in you. Beware the Troegenator!

FOOD COMPLEMENTS
Since Troegenator is a big beer, it is perfect with big beef—like grilled steaks and stews. It can also serve as a nice compliment to sweet, non-chocolate based desserts.
Best of all, Its brewed 5 miles from my house.

Yeah, I'd think you would, o Duratec mod. All credit to Nik from Draxas for the knowledge

-- easy, quick, effective. It throws a CEL for a bit, but no biggie.

Yup, and now you've introduced yet another OT tangent . Nice job, thread starter

Look and for once it wasn't Gary or me that took it OT. And now for something completely different.

Re: Hyperfest - July 10-11 - Summit Point: Camping/supplies/etc.

Did we get any type of registration information in the mail I can’t remember if I did?
For the last NASA event at BeaveRun, all I got was an email about 2 weeks before the event with some details. If you check the email you got when you signed up, it says something to the effect that you should get an email a few weeks prior to the event.

Re: Hyperfest - July 10-11 - Summit Point: Camping/supplies/etc.

Two weeks guys...Got all your prep work done???

All I've got left is to is swap out the front calipers and go over the suspension. Might even wash it if I get a chance. And may finish gutting the hatch to prepare for a bar.
