I added TWELFTY horsepower!!

Okay, so twelfty is my favorite made up number, and I didn't really add horsepower, I just fixed the DSI. But, it has been broken for quite some time. And in that time, I had changed from a FS cool-flo to a AEM CAI, added a UDP, and the car now has been flashed courtesy of Wayne at hypnotic.
It had felt really quick, even with the DSI broken, but the cold cammed feel and hurting gas mileage was getting on my nerves. So, 90 dollars and an hour or so later, it was fixed. Holy mother this thing pulls really hard. I'm on the winter rain tires (haha, thanks Em
) and a quick 1-2 shift sent me torquesteering to the right hard! Now all I need to do is fix the front o2 digging into the trans from my crappy FC ORP and I may [E*shock] have an SVT with no CEL on!!

At least I am not the only one with that problem. My CEL just came on Tuesday, Bank 1 Sensor 1 heater circuit failure. Sure enough, the sensor was rubbing on the block. Whomever designed the FC ORP, I would like to kick them in the nuts.

Whoa...maybe I need to look at that. I've had a CEL on and off (mostly on) for over a year.

My only thought on fixing this is to plug that bung up, weld a new one in to the side (so the sensor is horizontal) and do it that way....
Unless someone has a better idea that I'd be all for.

Glad to see you finally got it done.
I am gonna try to find an aftermarket o2 sensor that is a hair shorter than the OEM one. I have noticed that some vary in length from different manufacturers. I will be sure to post if I find one.
if someone of you post a picture of the o2 sensor,
i will check if our ones here in germany are shorter.
