Iceman where you moving to in NH? Guess I won't be the only LG S2 in the state anymore lol.

EDIT: Get yourself a beater pickup truck/subaru and a snowmobile, and you'll like the snow. Just take yourself to a big open parking lot and get used to how the car handles in the snow at different speeds, trust me on that one.

Do yourself a favor and at LEAST pick up a pair of Firestone Winterforce or some other cheap winter tires. The term "all-season" doesn't mean a goddamn thing when it comes to tires in places that actually get snow. Snowmobiling is a TON of fun...Here are mine:

What town specifically will you be in? I'm about 45 minutes from Keene so I'm interested in whether or not you'll be closer or further from me. Also, do yourself a favor and sign up at http://www.nemotorsport.com/boards. We have a lot of kickass get-togethers and it'll allow you the opportunity to meet some local people including myself, and get to know the area a little better by going on some sweet cruises.

Usually we're near the tail end of winter in southern NH by the end of Feb/beginning of March...But that still means there's a month or so of it left. I would suggest you get the snow tires this season if possible just because it's a MUCH easier transition from FL weather if you have snow tires too. I can picture coming up from FL, never having driven in the snow would suck balls on all-season or summer tires.

Do yourself a favor and get the narrowest snow tires you can get that will safely fit on whatever rims you have, and that preserve as close to the same outside diameter of the tire as possible.

Narrower is better when it comes to winter tires--floats less on top of the snow's surface. Plus, smaller contact patch on regular pavement means better gas mileage as the cold weather usually makes mileage go down. I'm actually moving to the Gilmanton area (about 45mins north) in March, but I'm sure we'll still get together at some point.
