dude, I am not trying to single you out. I went to the track a while back and there was a couple guys with civics there who kept saying they were running low 15's and we cought their times several different times and they were running like low 17's. Don't take this personal, I wasn't going after you Ultegra

That was before my recent string of mods. When I did that run I only had: Iceman, 3 piece pullies, FC TB, FC shifter.

With my current mods I should be in the hight 15's . Any opinions?? I can vouch for Ult...I've seen him run that fast with as little mods as he has. What is your secret?

well...if you dont think a focus can run 14's with a VERY well selected set of bolt ons, wake up, this car screams if you know what youre doin, no other car reacts to mods like the focus.

Here is a GUARANTEED recipe for 14's, and me, nader, chris, henant, and a dozen others have experienced this>

Good cams(crane, crower, esslinger)
UDP
Good cat back
RACE HEADEER*******
Good intake(volant, iceman, cold air) and possibly with 70mm mass air
TB
Cam gears
Chip(but not very nesecary, doesnt really add much power)

Nader ran 15.0@93mph with 18's, full body kit, full interior, tools and a 2.5 60ft!!!!!!!!!!

Imagine if he actually launched correctly, and he could easily get a 2.1, that right there is a 14.6

So im not sure who youre pointing at, if anyone here, but ive got tons of slips, people and places to back me and the rest of the people i mentioned.

But then again, these arent pepboys mods and LED tips

 

oh, and without n2o or turbo, no one has said about them runing 13's in a focus, except FOCUS CENTRAL, who ran 13.9 a dozen of times in their NA focus, and soon to do it MUCH faster with a brand new engine.

That car ran 13.9's in front of thousands of people, its on the Fun Ford website with their name and pictures....any questions?

Im sure dennis could also send the nonebelievers a copy of the timeslip, and a picture of his car crossing the finishline with the times flashing on the boards

Ok, there Ultegra Sti. Lets get a few damn things straight.

1. Anyone can post a pic of a timeslip with some #'s on it. But what makes me curios is why we can't see the rest of the slip, like where it says what track it was at and such. I have a track # for the tracks I go to so at the top of my timeslip is my track # so I can't fudge my #'s.

2. Now, you cry for bacon and ctzx3 but no one has come forward and said they can verify your runs.

3. I will pay you to come up here to Atco raceway in beautiful ATCO NJ, a short trip from you since I know where you live. Meet me on any tuesday or thursday night at this track and if you run a 15.5 or quicker I will pay you $ 100.00 plus gas, food, entry fee and travel costs.

I believe many of these guys who post like nazthug and tobyboom, look at there mods lists. They aren't claiming to run a 15.5 with a basically stock focus with an intact interior.

You said, I run a 15.56 with a ghetto rigged intake and nothing else prove it! Now you have a bosal and wires so you must be runnin killer times.

What is unreasonable? If you lie about something and someone calls you out, that isn't unreasonable! Whats the big deal, I need more foci's to show up at the track. You all want an aftermarket yet very few die hard folks ever goes to anything like a track.

 

Come on.. a dispute over a car running mid 15s?!?! That's not really a stretch man.

If he was claiming 14.9, I'd wonder myself, but it isn't worth calling out. It isn't.

This has nothing to do with more Foci showing up at the track.

 

Ive talked to UltegraSti online many of times. I do not doubt his times. Yes, they are quick for what he has done (or doesnt have done) but he doesnt come across as a liar. Most people on this forum are very honest people when it comes to slips, this is not clubsi. As far as calling him out, the proper thing to do would be meet him @ his track, that is after all where he runs those times. Keep this post clean or I WILL LOCK IT considering its already unhelpful nature.

Now the issue at hand, i can verify of Ult's mods and the time cause me a Baconzx3 were there

 

So tell me then, if he runs the seemingly un-attainable mid 15 sec ET with no mods. What is he doing that NO ONE else is able to do? I have never heard anyone claim to run a 15.5 without any mods, it is unheard of.

He says plainly that his car will go a 15.5 with just a ghetto intake, that was his claim. He says now it is faster because he has a flexpipe, wires and a bosal cat back. So what we talkin 15.3's now! I bet bacon would be incredibly pissed, with all his mods and 141 HP and he only runs a tenth or so quicker.

I am done in this thread, my offer still stands. I am not going to post on this topic anymore.
