Did some of you found a really good performance fuel pump???

I need another one and i don't want to buy an OEM...

Fuel pump will need to be ship in Quebec, Canada...

I was thinking of something not too expendsive...but something that will not [censored] soon

I am not 100% sure but wasn't the fuel pump on the early model focus recalled because it was failing on a lot of the cars? Maybe someone who had a fuel pump replaced recently can shed some light on the subject.Or contact Ford and see what is being done about the fuel pump failures.Just a thought.

Does someone have a link to that recall. I have not received anything in the mail about that. I am having problems w/ my fuel pump and I am out of warranty. BTW wrong forum.

There is, as yet, NO RECALL.
There are Service Bulletins, but NO RECALL.
No High-Performance pump is Needed.
The problem is with the gas tank.
It Sheds, which clogs the filter, which burns out the pump.
It's NOT the Pump's Fault.

From what I've said above, PLEASE LEARN! the OEM PUMP is FINE!!!
It's a Gas-tank-lining/Filter issue.
If you STARVE an Aftermarket Pump, it will suffer the same fate.

usually this goes down in team tech, but anyways...

closin in on 31k (runnin outta warranty)
fuel pump #2 (11k). especially pissed b/c there isnt an access cover like there is on ever other car.
