I just wanted to start a post that showed love for the SVTF. I know there are problems with the car but so what every car has problems. I have so much fun in this car. I'm glad my husband decided to get rid of our 01 Cobra, so he could get a PZEV, and give me the SVTF. So if anyone else feels the way I do, lets hear about it.

AMEN!

Seriously, the car is a great deal for the price. You gotta look at who we're subjected to on forums like these. Most average car people don't whine and moan as much as the people on car forums

With that being said, this thred is only for positive feed back. I don't wanna see anyone saying they could spend an extra 3000g's for a SRT-4. It's the truth, but this is for SVT LOVE ONLY!
I swear, I'll edit out the negative

I have to agree...I love my SVT!!! I think this way..why buy an srt4 for 20000 when you can get an svt for 16000. I think the svt beats an srt in every possible category except for of course speed and really don't think mt svt is a slouch. I'll take the svt any day just for looks and keeping an extra 4000 in my pocket that i can use to make the svt a helluva lot faster than any srt4. Have fun all you SVT lovers!!!

And you all know I love our SVT. I loved it enough that it made me want to go and get another Focus....Hell I got rid of a Cobra for my PZEV. I have definitely solved the PZEV vs. SVT debate. Buy both and enjoy the best of both worlds although I wish my bone stock PZEV was as pimp looking as our SVT is.

Mine is a love/hate relationship with my SVTF which means I LOVE to drive it and hate when I can't. As you can see lotsa love from my SVTF!!!!

I like it more and more. People keep comparing it to non-hatchbacks, but I needed a hatchback for my dog, etc. My other options were GTI and Civic Si. The SVTF was cheap, fast, fun, practical, and oh so blue. I think the interior and features are a great package -- as nice as the GTI, no? Although I've always had a hang-up about the headlights, the looks of the aging design still seem fresh and cool to me: It's still a tough Euro-space-pod.

Yup...I love my car too. Every time I take a corner too fast I smile and give thanks to those guys up at SVT for the lovely suspension they gave me. I feel this way after every autocross too, especially when I post faster times than Evolutions.

On a side note, you know D33, you could dump 5 grand into your SHO and OBLITERATE the SRT-4, no need to mess with the Focus.

This car rocks! The second week I had it, I took it to an SVTOA event. I've never AutoX'd in my life and I set the best time of the day. That was fun!

I look forward to driving it everyday and I sometimes just go out and drive. Yes there are faster cars and yes some handle better (where?) - but for the money this car is an awesome package.

And coming out of an 03 cobra - I love the gas mileage.

HIDs, Sunroof and Audiophile stereo all worth the price of admission. This car is so practical it's hard to believe. I can never get used to how big if feels inside and then see if from the outside.

And finally - mine is one of just 53 ZX5/Pitch Black/Blue Seats, so I probably won't see my car on the road anytime soon.

Thanks SVT for making a good car great.
I have only had mine for 5 Days now .. And there is a LOAD of Love here ...

I now there will be days where the Love may not be as strong but I will just have to Deal with it.

Fire
I had a zx3 for 3 years which I liked a lot. But coming up on 14k the SVT is Love bordering on Obsession. Never understood why people got so into cars before but now I get it.

It's had it's little quirks, but nothing like I've read on some posts. And in my college days I had an MG midget, so I know how problematic a car can be!
I love my svt.... and the redstripe ads. But mainly my SVT!

I love my SVT too, but I came to find out that the S.V. Team had little or nothing to do with the engineering of this car. This car is, basicly, the ST170 from Ford (of Europe). I kind of hate that they are taking credit for it.
