so ur one of those people who finds fun in starting problems with other people who are doing nothing to u, yes i can handle the power and yes my mustang will smoke ur doors off, so why dont u find a life rather than sit on a forum and bash others.

I doubt you'd smoke my doors off if you can't even hook up, lol.

I just find humor in the fact most people want more power yet you want less ... and at some point if you get another Focus you'll be adding some type of power enhancement to it because you miss the power.

and far as this site says it'd be a pretty good fight being I run a high 14 in the 1/4.

thank u svt4d, and back to dueschbag, oooohhhhh high 14 big deal come to me when u realize a bone stock mustang gt 2002 runs a 14.3 and i got work done, and im not goin back for a loss of power i goin back cause i live in new england and i need a pratical yet fun car for me

So let me get this right. You saw a front wheel drive 4 cylinder car "launch" and now you miss it? Even though your GT is better for that? Then you get called out for not knowing how to get a car off the line and you get hostile saying your GT could smoke a Focus? Dude you're on a Ford Focus forum...

I fail to see the point of your thread. Get a Focus if you want a car that can handle and get good gas mileage. Keep the GT if you want a car that you can take to the drag strip. Hell, even the GT can be made to handle half decent with the right suspension mods.

i plan on getting the focus i rather have a car that can handle than a straight line car i got the gt sole on the basis that hey lets see wat the hype about them is and it turned out i didnt like it, im sorry for gettin hostile it just seemed like that guy was attackin me instantly

Wow, so he's expressing his enthusiasm for Focuses on a Focus enthusiast site, and is getting bashed for it?

Power is not everything, maybe he enjoys taking corners? Man, people will find something to complain about in ANY situation. And BTW, a Focus IS easier to launch. It's not as fast, but it certainly is easier.
