I agree....I was heavily dissapointed in the car. They literally took a 350 and cut off the top. They made no effort to alter the design to make the covertible look nice. It's obvious that the convertible was at best, an after thought.
I had some time to kill at the Nissan dealer on Monday. The more I look at the normal 350z's, the more I dislike them. Aparently I am not the only one, because they had over 6 sitting on the lot with $1500 discounts! I feel sorry for all those morons who paid $5+k over MSRP during the first month.
For the money, the G35 coupe is a lot more car.
