My car has been making this clicking from the front end for about 2 weeks now on the passenger side. At first it sounded to me like a nail stuck in the tire so I took the front and rear off and found no nail. My front end got loose in some gravel yesterday and when I finally got traction (had to bogg the engine down in 4th) the drivers side started to make the same clicking noise. I'm thinking its the cv shafts going bad on it. I have access to brand new ones but I don't want to waste a day putting them on and it not to be the problem. Also if it is the shafts will the svt shafts from the getrag tranny fit the mtx-75 or are they different lengths? Thanx

Couple was to find out if they are bad. You can look in the inner fender well and see if there is grease slung around it. This will tell you that the boot is riped and needs to be replaced. Also look under the car at the inner boots. Make sure they are not ripped. If either of these boots are ripped, imo, replace the shaft. Another check you can do is grab the shaft just inboard of the outer boot and try to move the shaft up, down, forward, and back. If there is excessive movement, bad shaft. Repeat for the in board shaft. As for svt shafts... i have no clue
