I'm putting my Focus back together, and I've found a connector on the front core support that doesn't seem to go anywhere!
I had the connector labeled simply "under core support," and I don't remember if it was plugged into anything. I have the Ford Wiring Diagram manual, and have identified it as being in bundle 14K733, connector C420 based on it's shape and wire colors (brown and white) as seen on page 700-07-00. According to its description, it carries a sensor signal and a sensor signal return.
Problem is, there is nothing showing or describing what sensor it plugs into, and I can't find anything not presently connected!
On the Engine Compartment, Front" page (700-06-00), there is one connector shown but not labeled. Could this be C420? Does this confirm that while the connector is present, it isn't used on this model (2002 ZX3)?
