I would take that as a compliment. Then proudly tell them it's a focus. They will be shocked that a focus can look that good.

But I wouldn't consider anything a compliment from anyone that can't distinguish a Focus from an Impreza.

I've never had a problem with FWD....It just takes a slightly different driving style.

I've had allsorts over the many years it just needs your brain and right foot to adjust.

I think AWD FWD and RWD each have a place and car that fits it. There is just something awesome about spinning all four wheels though. Plus the benefits with the snow fall.

 

Each have their pros and cons, its just a matter of listening to each of the pros and cons to find what suits you the best.

 

RWD.. is pants in the snow..though.

 

Get a turbo and get some unequal length headers made then it will sound like a subi as well haha

 

Anyone who thinks your Focus is an STI is The Village Idiot and should be flogged for being such.

 

Did I ever tell you about the time a guy asked me how I got Subaru badges for my MazdaSpeed3? :what: And he was a "car guy" that had a turbo 240SX that never seemded to be around. :lol:

 

Having owned and Autocrossed a stock suspension 04 STI (With Star Specs on stock wheels) I can tell you that the handling characteristics of my wife's 02 SVT Focus are MUCH better. Put the two on course and the STI will run faster times no questions asked (The grip is there) but the way you have to drive a stock suspension STI (On a stock alignment none the less) is insane. I loved mine regardless, but don't regret the decision one bit to trade it in on a BRZ. Nice Focus.
