Guess Ford is having troubles selling Cobras and Mach1 along with the FSVT.
I found this on mach1registry.com

"Rebates announced for 2003 Mach 1
Just loged into the dealer website to check rebates and Mach 1's and Cobra's now qualify for rebates:

APR special

Ford Division is announcing for the Labor Day holiday an enhanced 0.0/1.9/2.9/4.9% Tier 0 - 1 Stand Alone APR (Pgm#2216/2218/2232/2234) and 1.9/3.9/5.9/6.9% Tier 2 Stand Alone APR (Pgm#2220/2236) on all new 2003-Model Mustang SVT & Mach1, effective August 27, 2003 through September 2, 2003.

Or if you'd rather have cash:

Ford Division is announcing for the Labor Day holiday an enhanced $2500 Retail Customer Cash (Pgm#1312) on all new 2003-Model Mustang SVT & Mach 1, effective August 27, 2003 through September 2, 2003.

Well at least now I've got something to ***** and moan about. But for those that haven't purchase, now might be a good time."

I don't think they are really having big problems selling them.

Probably just trying to quickly clear out the 2003s as 2004s are being produced now. I bet they will have some special editions coming out soon honoring the last year of the Mustang at Dearborn Assembly in the Ford Rouge Complex.

Indeed the 10th anniversary Cobra is different but I am thinking there may be more editons made in this final year.
