inner tie rod/end

I did a search on this and didn't find too much so I am gonna ask you guys. Well, Tommorow I have to replace me LH inner tie rod/end, for the second time. Seems kinda strange that I would go through 2 of these in a little over a year! Car has 42,000
The car is lowered only 1 inch. Any ideas or has anyone had a similar encounter? Thanks guys! Scott
