I am running Silverstar H1 and H7's and silver frosted amber 194 and 7507 bulbs (look silver but shine amber)

While I also cross-referenced the P21W to an 1156, it is not exactly correct, as the bayonnet tabs are not exactly opposite each other. Though I did manage to fit an 1156 in for the time being, I now have some 7507's that should be correct.

what does this mean? is this a direct plug and play into a USDM Foci?

Note that I have it wired so the low beams are still on with the highs. Otherwise I really don't like where the highs are focused by themselves, and you can't focus the highs separate from the lows. They sure are bright though.

I'm not sure where your question pertains to my statement as I was talking about which bulbs you will need with these housings but. . . No, These have the '02+ Euro plug on them and require a "harness" (two connectors and necessary pins) to be bought and soldered into the light harness, replacing your current connectors

Jefe....im not sure if you held it like that or did the mod, but they Hi-beams and the low-beams are supposed to be on during the "hi-beam mode)

because they are a twin-beam setup its ok for both to be on, and in europe the european focus is wired differently to where when you "click" for hi-beams....both go on

check the mach sticky thread, its a mod that connects the lowbeam to the high-beam mode allowing a "one click" to get both of the beams on without having to hold the lever...


its how the Euro focus was wired since they were all twin-beam housings...this mod meant for single beam apps obviously

its a MUST, when u see the pattern u'll understand

yeh its a 5mins job....just a piece of wire to "bridge" the two connections on the column

haha mine is still holding up i cant believe it, just had a piece of spare wire and some electrical tape, those were the old days of Ghetto Modding!

sooner or later i'll get in there and do it properly, like my gauges i have to periodically hit under the dash to get them on in the winter (cold detaches the glue lol)

Hahaha, Im glad I'm not the only one. I've redone most of my early ghetto mods since I've become more experienced. I remember having to hit the dash to get all my interior lights to work.
