Installing a clutch...

Jus wonderin if it is nescessary to have a lift to replace the clutch,i know it is a good thing to have. I jus dont want to have to pay $400 to have it put in. I have step by step instructions and plenty of help but is it possible to work with it with only a couple feet under the car? This might sound dumb but thanks anyway

its easier to pull the engine put the clutch on and put it back in.
I agree. Was going to make this my weekend project but I think it's easier if i bring it to the shop to life the engine
pull the rear engine mount, front drivers side tow hook, and the 3 studs out of the top of the tranny, and you can almost jack it straigth up with a tranny jack. did it this past sunday with some help.
