My friend wanted me to post this. Do you need a strut compressor for the install or will a spring compressor do?

A spring compressor should do the job. All the springs that I have installed I have never needed anything more.

All you should need are the spring compressors. Just make sure that they are of a good quailty, and that none of the threads are whacked out. Give the threads a liberal dose of grease or oil and you should be good to go.

I have done 2 spring swaps on my focus with just spring compressors. well, i used some sockets, and wrenches too.
