The fron bar is a little trickier but can be done by anyone who has a little common sense. You do have to unbolt the front sub-frame and lower it a bit but it's really not that hard. I've had mine apart twice...the first time on a lift but I manged it the second time on jack stands.
Just take your time and be patient: working under a car is not the time to get mad and make mistakes. A garage/shop couldn't do it much faster than you (if it's their first time) so you're going to save some $$$ doing it yourself.
