Just curious... I'm disassembling a cylinder head to get it "built", and am having trouble visualizing how you get the valve keepers on when reinstalling the valves. How do you do this? There's not much room to work in the lifter bore, where the keepers have to be worked with when reinstalling the valves.

As long as You have a valve spring compressor, the keepers will be easy to install, and once the spring compressor is released, the retainer will hold them in. It's a tight fit, but as long as You're patient, You'll get it.

Norseull you are a positive thinker for sure!

I am about to put a head back together myself and the only suggestion I have heard that sounds helpful is to use a bit of grease to "stick" the little widgets to the valve stem.

Aaaaaaargh!!!! This is a PITA!!!

Definately use grease on the inside of the keeper to "stick" it on. You will absolutely need some big tweezers........

Oh, and wear safety glasses I will feel a lot better.
