This was a NASA event. So the pre-grid and everything is what we're doing. Very good video.

There is one thing we do different in the Focus... then you'll do in a S2000 and that is Turn 5 (Hairpin). He drove the turn as a very late single apex; With the Focus we'll double apex that turn. You'll see most FWD race cars double apex there. But with our cars it's easier and faster to double apex there.

It's a very good instructional video!!

Thanks for that clarification Ted!

Here is a track map with the line and turn numbers so you can follow along. As you can see, the person who made it put a dotted line at turn 5 to point out the alternative line as Ted suggested.

Best thread in a while

Edit: In the video he says that 18 and 19 are the most important turns b/c they lead up to the longest straight. He says to go about half throttle through them though.

Now, I'm sitting here eating meat and potato pie thinking "Man I'd hammer it through there." So for a normal Focus, could you do that? If its most important, go for it! :dunno:
