Here are a few pics I took of the 2009 FSWerks turbo Focus at this years 2008 SEMA show in Las Vegas:

This car runs like a beast, very quick! And yes, I program all of our new turbocharged Focuses ( we have two 2008 and one 2009 Focus ) using the SCT X3 and the factory ECU. Seems like there are rumors stating otherwise, but that is not true. Its just that no one else can do it yet and we aren't offering it to the public yet. ;)

I was speaking to the guy who moved our car into the Ford booth and asked him how the car was as it was being positioned into place. He was commenting on how fast it was and how much power it had. He was very enthusiastic. Guess he didn't know I was from FSWerks since I was wearing my Ford credentials for the show. ;)

This is what I love about Focus Sport, a continual push for the Focus community, never disappointing, and never outdone. Great job guys. I'm sure this car, just as every other FS car, will get great praise. Oh, and you guys ALWAYS manage to make the rare wheels and big brakes look easy.

Thanks. Getting the wheels/tires/brakes sorted on our project cars is a HUGE priority for me. They have to be on the money. It is a real PITA to get the Brembo 328mm big brake kit and most wheels to jive on the Focus. Ivan and I usually have to hash out the details for a couple of weeks before a final decision is made. And then I usually make a change at the very last minute. ;)

I have to give a big hand to Vik for bustin ass on this thing in record time. You wouldn't believe when we started work on this. :D

I don't think it can be said enough how much everyone @ FocusSport has changed the perception of the 08-09 body style for the majority of the members on here. I know we all remember when there were numerous threads denouncing Ford's exterior styling choices... now, it seems almost everyone here is praising them. Honestly you have made the Focus community like the Focus again, something Ford themselves couldn't really do.

Big

Does that say 260whp/265tq? That's damn impressive for a 2.0L on stock internals, at I'm assuming 11-12psi.

Because FocusSport constricts them to only building Foci' while FSwerks could be more widely known in the future ;)

I think it is the other way around......265hp and 260 ft.lbs........ but anyway, FSWerks/Focus Sport, whatever you want to call them..... are a credit to FJ,FoMoCo, and the Focus communtiy in general!

Thanks for creating a GREAT aftermarket for our cars, and for doing some of the finest tuning on the planet!

P.S. If Ford wants to make a performance version of the Focus, they should just have FS develop, turbo, and tune the new Foci! FS=Cosworth anyday! (both world class companies)
