ok.....well ive searched & only seen topics about porting the zetec throttle body. but i wanna know if its possible to do it on our spi tbs. any replies would be appreciated

I think so. Isn't ours like 50mm? I think I would want a 65mm if they have it...so I probably wouldn't port mine. I don't know yet.

Sorry but it isn't happening. For some reason the zetec tb is way bigger than the actual throttle plate , I think it has to do with how their IAC air is routed through the tb. They port some obstructions to flow that are above the throttle plate. Our tb has no obstructions and is thin walled, you could have the opening bored out a little and a new plate made up but it would be barely bigger than before since the stock tb has a thin wall. Bdr is the only way!

Only thing I would check is to make sure it doesn't have a big bur on the inside of the mouth of the tb. If so, get rid of it!
