My advice is to take the bushings loose and lather them up with silver anti-seize. That stuff never comes off, and does an excellent job of stopping squeaks. (been there, done that on other vehicles)

If you want to take it a step further, remove the bushing/clamp and drill the clamp for a grease zert, and drill a small aligning hole through the polyurethane so it can be periodically lubed with a grease gun.

And WD-40 is made from fish oil. I'd go with what n2omike said and you can also get the clamps with the zerk fittings already installed, several sites carry them.
