AS in my last thread i was putting on a race header. ran into probs. we couldnt get the cat out so my friend startd to hammer on the bolt, it moved it down some then i did it also. well now the bolt is bent and i cant get the cat out now. any suggestion please.

what kind of tool do ya recommending cutting off the bolt?

Cut off tool, hacksaw, sawzall, (2) sticks?

Try prying it with a spork.

scissors broke, used spork for lunch. think im gonna buy a dremel.

moral of this screw up: don't hammer bolts

When in doubt? Cut it out!



Thats what I ended up doing to get the studs off my stock exhaust. I used an air powered cutting tool, and ground the heads of the studs, then notched the flange on the exhaust so I could pound them out.

i went and purchased a dremel, hopefully that will work.
