I was out searching for inspiration this morning and figured I'd take a few pictures of the Focus. Its old, grumpy in the morning, and smells bad, but I still enjoy driving it.

And some scenery.

Nice pictures Seth! The grumpy old man car is still a beast! All my mud is washed off except what made it inside the car lol.

Its got a chronic exhaust leak at the rear flange of the flex pipe. Well that and the lack of cat/interior make it more noticeable. Its not really a bad smell, unless you're the type of person who doesn't like the smell of partially oxidized cyclic hydrocarbons...

Sorry, I'm putting KW v1's on this spring (whenever I get around to calling Karl). :(

I'll see what I can do for videos this morning.

I don't know if I've said this before but I have first dibbs if you do ever decide to pass on its glory:thumbup:

Video time!

Just after start up.

Once the idle drops, everything that's left of the interior starts to rattle.

Apparently, I'm too incompetent to embed YouTube videos.

No youtube vids are a pain in the butt to figure out on this website it took me like 12 times to get it and now I can't remember lol

What interior?

To embed just put everything after the = in the youtube link, such as "7QRrVGDTqTY"
in btwn [youtube ] then [/yout..be]

such as

what flywheel are you running? that sucker revs FAST.

He has the fidanza lightweight flywheel. I suppose I could have let him answer for himself

Like Brett said it's the Fidanza 8.5lb flywheel. Eagle rods, Supertech 10.6:1 pistons, dynamic balanced from flywheel to UDP.

Not really, just Crower 2's. ~270* duration and 0.413" of lift. I had plans initially (and may still) to run a Crower 4 intake and Comp 3 exhaust cam. The intake came is around 280* and 0.454" of lift. Exhaust has about the same duration and 0.380" of lift.

I have had the hatch on the back-burner for the last year, with having a family. We're hopefully going to have our second adoption this year, then I can get back into the thick of this build and go nuts on it.
