I remember seeing this somewhere else. The finish on the cover was absolutely horrible and looked like it was made by an autistic one armed spider monkey in his sleep with oven mitts on. He didn't like that so he wrecked it.

Every Focus Ive seen in a front end collision the hood buckles up in the center.
what happens to carbon fiber hoods in a front end collision? Do they just slide back shearing the mounting bolts and come into the cabin?

Your right. The hoods wrinkle right up. Never seen a CF hood in an accident...
