Just for fun...what\'s your pick? G35 vs 350Z

I personally like the G35 2 door better than the 350Z...a bit more graceful...

What do you guys think? I'm bored so I figured I'd ask this here since me and my friends are always arguing about which one we like better and why.

I agree, I think the G35 is more graceful.

But I would still prefer the 350Z just because I would rather not have refinement in my driving machine

G35 completely - I still can't get over the styling of the new Z. There are some small details I like, but overall it's a failure in my book, especially from the "refrigerator door handle" on back.

I like the looks of the G35 best, but the performance options of the 350Z...

So... I'm on the fence I suppose. If I could get a G35 equipped exactly like a 350Z, then it'd be a no-brainer for me.

I'd agree with the G35 coupe. My dad has one, and I'd take it over a 350z anyday. It seems like a more refined overall package, with 90% of the performace of the 350z. For a daily driver, the G35 makes way more sense.

There are quite a few performance options for the G35. There are several turbo/supercharger kits already in production along with all the suspension and cosmetic items. You could do a lot with a G35 if you had the cash.

Haha...awesome answers! Surprising to me really, a lot of my friends like the 350Z better. But hey, great minds think alike. G35 rocks! Definetly a purchase I would consider when I get into my "older" phase...hehe. Ofcourse we argue about the nonstock options...stock the 350Z performs way better...but once you get into the customizing and modding aspect of things...the G35 is just oh so yummy.

Now I just have to decide...G35 or M3.... Hmmmm

Definitely 350Z. I wouldn't even consider the G35 because I really don't like the interior and the exterior is a toss up with a slight design edge going to the 350Z.

I would go for the G35 coupe with the sport package in black

over the 350 Z anyday.I agree the style of those door handles on the Z are way over the top for me too.

I dont know really... I wouldn't buy either if i had the cash, but if i HAD to pick one, i guess the 350Z track package. I did see my first g35 in person, and it was pretty hot.

Rather have an RX8 tho

G35...my buddy has one and its awesome to drive, though I was a bit disspointed with its performance, but then again it could have been the auto it had and the Manualmatic it has blew goat chunks IMO.

G35 no doubt. My step bro works at Lexus as a service advisor, he gets to bring them home on occasion...took me for a ride...wooooooooooooo. The 350z is to angular and small.

G35 coupe. Saw one racing at GingerMan Raceway this summer when I was there with my ZX3 and my dad's SVT. The car looked so nice going around the twisties, and the owner's previous car was a focus. The guy knows how to pick em!

At first I didn’t know why you people where comparing two cars that are so similar and one cost more (I assumed the Infiniti was more)
But after pricing the two cars on Nissan.ca and Infiniti.ca they are so close.
350z base $45,400, track package $47,000 (Canadian)
G35 Coupe $45,200 auto, $47,200 6 speed (Canadian).

The two hundred more for G35 6 speed is worth it for the cool LED taillights alone.
(I don’t think the 350Z has them.)
I was wondering why I see so many G35 in Toronto and hardly any 350z’s but now I know.

I would pick the G35 over the 350Z if you're comparing looks. I like the unique refined look of the G35. Yes the 350Z is a eye catcher but to me the G35 has just the right amount of style, sport, and eye candy.

Performance wise, 350Z. If you asked why, you diffently need to get out more.

Wrong make buddy, its an Infinity not a lexus.

I'd pick the 350z over the G35 any day. Why, because it a Z and the Z lineup is legendary. My neighboor had a 300ZX twin turbo, manual, Super HICAS. Holy crap was that thing amazing. the 350z wins hands down for being the nicer car.

The G35 is for the man/woman who doesn't want to have a 2 seater sports car but needs to spend the money on an Infinity to make them sound rich and more important.

350Z is by far the nicest nissan to debut.

And as for the door handles...people wonder why America gets the crap cars with crap power and crap looks...its because people don't like innovation. I love the door handles and thank god that Nissan is doing something different.

You make it sound as if the G35 were a more expensive car...it's really not. Also, I have to disagree with Nissan being the ones doing something different...the G35 is a more unique looking car from the front end to the taillights....

I mean really, if you look at a 350Z, it does not look THAT much different than a porsche...yea there are big differences, but the overall shape and size is the same really.

And if I had to pick from any Nissan...I'd take the Skyline. hehe...I think that's the nicest car to Debut...R32 and up.

Just clashing opinions...not a flame.
