the main thing i've heard against them is cost of maintenance and parts. my former boss had one and loved it except for those things. something that may cost a couple hundred bucks to fix on a focus might cost a couple thousand on an audi

If you don't mind how much was it? I find them pretty cheap here in Germany.

My '88 5000s quattro (not turbo, 130hp) was one the most reliable cars I ever owned. The biggest automotive mistake I ever made was to trade it for $1700 on a new A4(POS).

I've been looking for a 10v or 20v 80/90 or 5000 since. You really cannot kill them and they'll climb up the steep side of Pike's Peak with the right tires!

You'll enjoy it.

I have in my sites a S2 Quattro 20V for $350. But I cannot get in touch with the place that has it.

WOOHOO got in touch with them. Will be up for sale on the 1st of Sept. As soon as I can get it I think it will be called Project Cheap Rally. LOL. Need a daily beater for the winter and should be able to tow the Focus to the track.

Basicly what it looks like.
