Be careful, you're not invinisble. Be cautious it donsent take much to get into an accident. Trust me I know

Then it dosent take much to get a speedin ticket, when you drive into a area classified as a city limit, don't speed trust me.
I just don't you to loose that licence, like me.

Well right now I gota drive to work my privillages are expired and im going to try to take my remedial driving ed class's this saturday. (6 hours of boring drivers ed how much more common sence can be packed into something ? )
My point is this, you just got you're licence and allready you're doing drifitng, if you're doing that on public roads with out the proper teacher (whom has experince drifting)
You're just setting you'reself up for tickets, dammages or hurting somone or something. Focus is still a car you could hurt you'reself or hurt a bystanderd. It dosent take much to loose you're licence when you're a minor.

I don't post any of this stuff to be mean to you at all, once you start driving and loose you're licence you'll go absolutly nuts. I just say it because I don't want to give you the advice let you know it can happen. Don't go around thinkin you're the slickest thing since bill clinton or you'll get a rude awkening like I did. Like I say not to be mean don't want to see bad situation happen to you.

Trust me, I have experince as do others I bet.

Have fun, just have fun on back roads and in big empty parking lots.

Welcome to the jet man. Where are you from? You will have to tell us some stuff you have in mind for your focus. It's awesome that you have joined us in comparison to alot of communitys the focus community is strong. It's absolutely great happy your joining us.

It scares me that you already are drifting (non the less drifting at all) after just getting your license. A certain fear is good to have. I have lost my license 2 times (one was for six months) and need to take a clas. I am still having trouble getting passed due credit for serving a suspension in 02. My point is driving is a huge responsibility and if you aren't thinking about hurting someone (or are confident you won't) just think how much it sucks to total your car or lose your license. With that being said

Well, it did just snow, so the roads are icyand slick , so im basicly sliding around the corners at 10-20 mph. (not actually drifting) .

Any way , right now I have an SVT sedan i luv this car. Once i save up sum cash, i will beable to do sum exterior mods and such. Im a noob and havnt figured out wut performance mods are good to start with so im gona rice it out first.

Wut were the first mod you guys made for a decent price?

A very emotional series of postings, inspiring guys. Good incentive not to speed is to piss people off who do. We have a road by my house thats technically a school zone, and right next to our government center...everyone does 35 - 40. I prefer 15, with the windows down and kid friendly music playin, cause honestly, who could be mad at that, and it gives the cops a good vibe about you. Oh yeah, i got pulled over for 60 in a 25 once on a different road, the cop didn't get me on radar but said i was going "questionably fast." Good thing i was listening to classical! (always do that when you get pulled over, it sets a hilarious mood)

Note to self: The roads are probably safe, but stay off the sidewalks in Maryland.

The only "SVT Sedan" I've ever seen ins on that had ECU/Engine (Ztech SVT)/Transmission (Getrag)swap.

Also it had SVT Seats, guages ectera. However technically that dosnt make it an SVT, but I thought it was close enough to call it an SVT being it was in a focus and did have the engine.

However, thats because somone swaped the engines. I'de be lying if I didn't consider taking a 3K SVT (Rear was totalled but the car ran meaning the Tranny/Engine/ECU are functional being there was no front end dammage.) focus I found online and have it sent to me just to do that to my sedan. However my mom would be like "Why do you buy broken cars now? "

If you have the Sedan you either have a Split Port Induction (SOCH ) Like I do, you might have a Ztech (DOCH). You have a 05 ST Sedan you have a 2.3 L Duratech. The simplest way for you to find out is to open you're hood. Prop it up, look at you're engine. The part of the engine you see that has writing on it is called the "Valve Cover" it will say "Ford Split Port" or "Ford ZTECH" or "Ford Duratech" Duratech is either 2.0 or 2.3. SPI = 2.0 L and Ztech is also 2.0

Please share the basic things with us like you're engine and weather you have a Manual or Automatic Transmission.

You can learn alot at this site, make sure you get a job though this site has cost me alot of money haha

Just to clear things up for you if you have any questions just post them up. We don't want you thinkin you're gonna hit vtech or something.

ahhh i see your already out raising hell just after you got your lisence....hahaha....i did the same exact thing...o i'm a better driver then them. I'm a really good driver i said.....2 weeks later i put my 1990 mazda 626 w/ only 50,000 miles on it head on into a phone pole at 50mph....that was pretty violent...i could have killed myself and 2 of my friends that were w/ me had i not told them to wear they're belts. There was a witness to the wreck and they could'nt beleive anybody walked out of that wreck ....my friends tried to get out they're passenger side doors but could'nt b/c the frame was so badly bent that the doors were wedged shut they had to climb out my door, my one friend in the back was un-injured but had the wind knocked out of him from the force of the wreck and fell on the ground trying to gasp for air right after the wreck, my friend in the passenger seat had a spider fracture in his wrist and he was alright....i had a fractured collar bone (never healed right)....seatbelts save lives if you pick up anything from this.....i know you wont listen to a word anyone says till you actually demolish a car for your own self....so if you get anything just wear your belt

I will listen to the helpful info that ll of you have provided and i always do wear my belt.
Well. you guys caught me on the "SVT sedan" thing, im not sure on the tpye of focus i have or specs on it other than that it is a much faster car than other foci. I need to learn alll the types of engines and all that. I usually dont bother to look it up myself just cuz im a lazy ass but i am gona start.

It will tell you what engine you have then we will know, we can help you learn about what you got then.

SPI 2.0L, ZTECH 2.0L, SVT ZTECH 2.0L, Duratech 2.0, Duratech 2.3L are the engines that are in the North American Foci.

Stock the SVT would be the strongest. However, the normal ztech has great potential. The Duratechs are strong engines.
SPI is SOCH lovin

Seat belt is a good start, but keep in mind its to save you're life not save you from messing up.
