I'm not trying to be a jerk but use the search, there are tons of threads about all the different kinds of CAI avaliable.

A few people have them and they would sound similar to other intakes I would bet, though I dont have first hand experience. I would suggest that you support some of the sponsors of Focaljet and get a steeda, focussport, marcy, cosworth, or f2 intake instead.

i bought my car used (2.3D) and it had the k&n cai on it, i couldnt tell you a difference in sound or power beause like i said it came with the car but i do believe that it has 99% of the same sound you'd get from a cheap pepboys filter set up and at a napa i looked it their cai book and for the focus a k&n filter gains 3 hp, mainly because if you notice the stock intake is bacically a cold air intake set up anyways but can you believe that a mustang cobra gains 25-30 hp with just a k&n cai thats crazy but anyways i hope this helped

The Mustang has a *little* more to work with. As a percentage it's a little more understandable.

Personally, I would support Walter; he's one of the most helpful people I've met in a business context. He doesn't seem to care if he's making a buck or not where advice is concerned.

ive heard theres a possibility that SOME K&N models may not retain the maf housing diameter and thus could cause the engine to run lean. check first rather than screw'n the engine up. search is your friend around here. ;)

I have had mine on my D2.3 for about a year. Install was easy, fit was excellent. Looks great! Stock, the intake makes no noise that I could ever hear. The K & N is quiet up to 3,000 RPM then starts to be audible above that, the noise level rising with how hard you press with your right foot. I have had no MAF issues.
