Well i was putting my turbo system together on my car today when i see a guy in my driveway peeking at my setup. He says he builds (or tunes) for mitsubishi and their rally cars over in europe. i was like "holy crap" and he said he has an svt 6 speed tranny and FULL svt interior he wants to sell me for $800!!! i was freakin out then, such a good deal. so tell me, has anyone heard of him? He said something about a malcom guy which i assume is a rally driver over in europe? I asked if he heard of Tom and he said he did. so gimme some feedback here. Also, would a 6-speed svt tranny be beneficial for the money??

I bet that if you dropped the $800 in his hand for it, he will tell you that he will be right back with the parts. No you can't go with him, no he won't bring them to you, no he won't do a 50/50 deal. Get the idea. Someone find the BS Flag.

plus, judging from all the SVT owners who wish that they had the standard 5-speed in their cars, i would probably pass on the Getrag.

IMHO, anyone who walks up off the street and tries to "deal" with you is either: selling stolen goods or is ready to screw you over. If he did all the stuff he said he did, why would he need to tell you about it? Don’t trust him. There are a lot of people who can BS their way into your wallet, don't let him. Ask him to verify his credentials, and show you the stuff before you ever show him any cash. Remember, "Seeing is believing"
