Lambo doors
I was wonderin if n e one has pics of their focus or a focus with lamborghini doors.... ive been curious to see what they would look like...thanks

They are charging 800 shipped actually. Still a hell of a deal from what I've been told about their product, but I'm not sure I wanna throw that on my credit card. Its awful tempting though. Hmm....

They also open up about 18-24" first, then go up. So you have to kinda slump in.
I wish I had the money to get those. Lambo doors would be so cool on my focus.

A guy at FOTB 04 had the lambo doors on his sedan... or was it FOTB 05?
Somebody buy the jtautostyle ones and tell me how the quality is. I love the HPA LSD kit, but I just can't afford it. If JT Evo doors are anywhere near the quality of HPA, I'll drop the 800 in a heartbeat.
Two club members ahve the JT Autostyle doors.
itsmemorphois got black powdercoated hinges
and
fiends911 got silver hinges. not powdercoated.

on itsmemorphious's car...he had a shop do the alignment of the gaps.
they shop deemed the JT Auto supplied bolts not sufficient enouogh so...
they redrilled and tapped all teh holes on the car and the door for larger stronger bolts.
they ten used a much higher grade to hold teh door in place. and then once it was aligned, they tack welded the bolts to the hinges.
they arn't going anyway.

On fiends911 car, we havn't been able to properly get the gaps set but the doors work fine.
sans the fact that his hinges, although the same ones that itsmemorph. got. lack the set screw alignment holes and his doors drop too far down so you need to raise it back up to get it to latch.

I've heard from a couple guys who have them, that they were satisfied in the look they gave the car but not w/ the overall quality.
I know that itsmemorph. has to replace his passenger side door strut b/c it's just stopped working and the door only swings up and about 1/4 the way up. But i think he said that JT Auto is going to replace it free of charge.
I've heard other talk that the doors cause the bolts and hinges to sag due to the weight. but i've not seen any on a focus long enough to verify that.

Overall, i like the look the JT Evo doors give a car but they could be a little bit more consistent in their manufacturing process.
