LOL. Good to know you. SUCKS that the bigger sc not in good health for the event. Oh, you search out E85 places from here to event?

cool. i know other day at the house you was saying not sure where any was. i try to look. but not many posted around here

understand. looks good so far. hope you find a head & get to keep rollen on the project. how is the rebuild on sc going? find all you need for it

that was automotive wholesalers shop, then it was mike sr/jr & kenny bush. now i do not know the name. think scott shoulty owns it now. could b wrong. i did not think they was still open.

thats cool. for a milling & a cleaning it was a 80.oo last yr. not sure now what they may be asking. he will also put a flywheel on his blanching machine. it puts a cross sanding pattern that helps a lot with grab. 20.oo. i get it done all the time..lol

well prices are the same at least..lol. i was not thinking but 80 was for heads on my mustang. they cleaned them, milled & put new seals in

I'm not a huge fan of automotive... they have done me wrong a few too many times... they hot-tanked a set of heads that I had just rebuilt without telling me... Killed my new viton valve seals...

They also half arsedly assembled a friends motor... He paid for a 383 bottom end... assembled and ready to go... all they did was bore it... stock crank... bearing clearences where all off as where ring gaps, etc... we found this all out when we pulled it apart after it failed ~2k miles in... and they wouldnt warranty squat.

I called them about decking the head on my supra... couldnt tell me the RA value that they can cut to on their surface grinder... (which is a must know when setting up a 7m with a metal headgasket..) the only thing they said was.. "well.. it gets pretty shiney"... yeah.. fail.

Farmers is the only local shop I would trust but they are a bit on the slow side... and ushually a few weeks out on anything..

anyways... keep it up

was this when Bush owned it? that would been from 01 to 06. a lot of stuff came out wrong. as for farmers. i have a good frnd wrkn there. but they really fubared a set of heads once. went to mile & was cut so bad i could not drag a finger nail across them. they are getting better. they also ripped up off on a 306 & balance. that was n 98. heads as 04.

Finished porting and sanded her smooth. I know it doesn't look to smooth, but it is.
