17X7 Team Dynamic Pro Race 1.2 are light (17.7lbs), strong (low pressure casting in England), and look great (if you like the multi-spoke look). Thay have a 45mm offset (great for handling), SVT is 49mm (a bit more conservative), and 40-42 is considered to be pushing it.
Have you thought about which class you're going to run? If you're planning to attend SCCA autocross events, the most popular classes you could run in various prep levels would be: HS, STF, FSP, or SMF. So your best option for wheels will differ by class. My car is prepped for STF, and I run the 13-pound, 15x7.5 Rota Slipstreams.
I have been running oz models, both in 15" and 16" sizes. Check the rules for your class first. Focus 4x108 limits your selection but it can be done. Light also comes with cost, so autox with what u got and spend some money on the rubber first.
Already have good rubber, but was thinking about getting some REAL performance tires and light weight wheels. And I would drive my car there, and change "shoes" to run the course. Not thinking racing slicks, just the closest thing I can get to it.

I thought some of you guys might like a video I made showing a stock street 2000 Ford Focus ZX3 becoming a fully prepped rally car.
Check it out!
OK, so I have the SCCA Solo rule book, and the class I'll be competing in is Street Modified. Since I have a CAI.
Will they actually open my hood and check under the car to make sure that's the only mod?
Can't they take my word for the mod? If that's the case what prevents me from telling...
Hey guys I was wondering if any body knows how I would go about doing this? I really want to convert my zx3 to awd because I would like to get into rally. My main objective here is to build a really nice car that will last a long time so I could save money in the long run. Sorry if I posted in...
