Locating the fuse for automatic door locks

I can't locate the fuse for the automatic door locks on my 2000 Focus SE. The manual says it is located behind the interior fuse panel but I have not been able to figure out where it is. My door locks and trunk lock will not open with the remote or the buttons inside the car. Would like to check out the fuse before I try something more extensive. Thanks

The owner's manual says that the fuse in on the back of the fuse panel in the passenger compartment. I looked at the shop manual and it confirms that the fuse is located on the back of the panel. However, it doesn't tell you how to get to the back of the panel. Guess I'll have to look for myself.

Wow! I must admit to defeat! I printed out the layout of the front and back of the fuse panel from the manual-on-disc I bought for the car and crawled underneath the dashboard with a flashlight and mirror. But I could not, for the life of me, find the fuse! There are plenty of wire bundles that are strapped to the fuse box that block any attempt to view the location where the fuse is supposed to be. Running my fingers all over the back and comparing it to the image didn't help. Obviously, if my door locks didn't work, I'd have to continue the search, but I have to call it off because the next step would be to dismount the fuse panel. Not something I want to get into right now.

Sorry.
