My wife scanned these in today. These pix were taken in 2000.

2000 SVT Contour E1. 18" wheels (they were huge for 2000), lots of carbon, Spax and Eibach suspension, one off intake, superchip, HID headlamp kit, eventually a Vortech (had lots of problems with that) , hand made carbon fiber inner door panels and tons of other stuff. What a fun car. I had a full custom one off stainless exhaust with single DTM tips on the back. It sounded soooo sick. GO MONDEO...

Enjoy.

Dig the Brit flag emblems. Those flags are reps of small ones that were on a 140 Jag race car.

Real, yes real carbon fiber sail panels. CF was not big yet and people tripped out on these. They were from a company called KKM Motorsports.

I had the black rear valance insert painted to match the car. Note the single 3" DTM tips... love dtm tips.:D

Sold it to a kid in Palm Desert California maybe a yr after I bought it. I purchased it brand new at Manhattan Beach Ford(traded in my 95 Ford Pickup..LOL).

I got rid of it, because my job at the time gave me a company car.

Hottness man, yeah I am also rockin KKM on mine but thats just the intake.

I personally wouldnt go with the vortec kit, they had TONS of problems with the jack shafts breaking, and IF you can get a uprated shaft you will have alot of custom fabbing to make it all work, go with the nautilus turbo kit instead man.

I noticed they didn't have much any longer. I had the same shift knob:lol:

If I can get my wife to scan in the photo of the interior, I will put it up. I had a big Ford Racing tach on the left side of the dash, Razo pedals, Big stereo but I still used the stock head unit, KKM shift knob, and eventually cf door panel inserts.

It was an awesome car. I loved the way it sounded. It was pretty quick as well.

Nah, still into cars. I seriously couldn't remember all the cars and trucks I have had.

If my wife gets her new job in the next 6 months or so, I will buy another project car. We will sell her Rabbit (because she will get a company car) and I will buy somthing I want to tinker with.

That must've been one helluva company car they gave you that you would part with this baddass CSVT after only a year.

I owned a 95 Contour SE that I ordered from the factory at a time when no one even knew what they were. I was so Jealous when the SVTs came out!

Mondeo FTW!

Actually it was a Dodge Intrepid.. At the time, I had no reason to keep two cars especially if one was free. I actually kept it for about 2-3 months into the company car program, but I just didn't have the room either (living in an apt on the beach).

Rice!

LOL. Just kidding; that was a pimped out SVT Contour... with the standard "tuner" menu of teh m0dz... very nice.

I love those cars, too; especially the 24 valve V6s; loved the growl they had.

Before I stumbled onto my 0% Duratec hatch Focus, I was looking to buy a Contour Sport. As much as I do sincerely like the Contour/Mondeo chassis, I am SO GLAD I have my fofo.

Fo' SHO'.
