Looking for Sponsors for Huge Focus Event...

There should be 50-75+ cars there. I predict it will be bigger than Focus on the Beach '03 even.

Don't I have anyone who wants to take advantege of this incredible opportunity?

Please don't take this the wrong way, as you may already know all of this. But if not, just some words of advice.

You will NEVER get any serious sponsorship by just mentioning it on a message board. Aftermarket companies hear about "huge events with thousands of people" all the time. Why is this event going to be so big? What is special about it that would make companies want to invest in this? What kind of press are you expecting and/or have heard back from stating they will be there to cover the event? Who will be providing the event insurance? Please tell me its not just "a big G2G with lots of phat cars".

To put on these events, you need to make a serious financial investment out of your own pocket, often to even get people to look at you seriously. Expect to loose a good deal of money before it takes off and you can recover those expenses.

Businesses want to know what kind of return on investment they will be getting. Remember they're not charity organizations.

Talk to BUR_ZX3 about his Focus on the Beach experience. Its certainly not a walk in the park.

is there a thread on this GTG? you may want to get ron involved, since in his neck of the woods, kinda.

remember in the spring there are tons of events going on. so a march or arpil may be a better date aswell. if you need any assistance i'd be happy to help, and likely show up

I don't have a thread on this yet because I have to secure the go-cart tracknext week. So I don't know exactly what weekend it will be.

Spring would be great! I saw a post a while back that there WASN'T going to be an FX-04 this year I[d like to think I'm wrong or someone else is going to pick up the reins. Us right coasters need to keep pressure on the left coasters.
