hey fellow svtf owners, i am back NA. so if any of you can remember i went turbo hoping to never look back. I ended up with some serious internal damage!i will post pics soon! cyclinder's 3,4 were fried, 4 so bad that the piston adhered to the cylinder head. i had to get a whole new engine from focus salavage!!! Looks like it back to bolt ons and 160 whp. the list goes as such: thinking about cam gear but not sure.

coil/wires
3in exaust
test pipe
udp kit
 
so any reason why the motor blew? Poor tuning? Sorry to hear that man, good luck with the new motor.

tom said it could be a clogged fuel filter or something of that nature. but i mean the car only has 30k on it, but i'm not going to bad mouth him at all. i wish i knew what it was!!
 
Ouch. Sorry to hear. That sounds like a good list. The 3" is probably overkill, but if you have it kickin around still...do it!!!
 
sorry to hear about your loss. and at the same time I'm hearing a little voice inside your post that keeps saying turbo kit 4 sale??? Hit me up and I might be able to help you recover some of your $:thumbup:

i have yet to see a dyno for a na svt to hit those numbers. i wouldn't even know where to begin. we already have a great header and intake mani. i guess you could bore out the block and better flowing head job. but even tom says it really not worth what it cost.

THATS a damn full race engine,w/ a intake mani i've never seen before! didn't really go into full detail. if i could pic up the vct delete dual cam gears, and that intake mani i would be kinda close maybe.!! thanks wasn't being a ass ethier
