I say bring on an S6 for value here. As Ron notes, if the Caddy is priced where they say, if offers a tremendous alternative up or down the scale compared to the other marques.Whoa whoa whoa!, a S4, I don't thinks so. The S4, is priced in the $40,000 range. You want something in the $50,000 range, maybe you should check out the S6. Competitively priced at MSRP: $58,700
Price as configured: $59,360. The caddy with all the options in knockin on this door.
A fully loaded CTS (non V) comes in at MSRP : $41,570.00, so why should the CTS-V cost in the $40,000's, try $55,000 for a base model and $60,000 for a fully loaded model, that will surely not be blowing away S6's. For $60,000 I would much rather prefer the BMW M3, or the MBZ C32, or maybe the upcoming MBZ C55.
Alright, it's doubtful that a CTS-V can be had for less money than the S4,C32,M3 pack but-
An S4 is listed as 44 to 48k by any number of sources, while an AMG C32 lists at 50k, and an M3 at 48-50k..... if the CTS-v comes in around 50k as expected.......I just think it offers much more car for the money, but we'll wait for the real $s and comparison I suppose.
