Help... While driving one night my highbeams just stopped working... No warning nothing, just stopped. My low beams are fine. I have checked every fuse and the relays under the hood. But all are working properly. Have you ever heard of this happining, or know what I can do to fix it? Any suggestions would be helpful. I have searched all over the internet, consulted my manual as well as a chilton manual and can not find anything that would help me fix it. It is a 2001 ford focus.

yeah this was the case with my first set of headlights and every time I put a new bulb in it eaither quickly burned it out or you could see no difference between low and high beams on the passenger side. It was due to a faulty wiring harness in the headlight housing.
